The templates provided are sized to fit and print out on an 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper. This is because not everyone has a large format printer to work from. However, please know that once you have the template, you can resize it to fit any size sheet of paper you wish. It’s all a matter of working with PagePlus 8 PDF (or higher).


If you need a starting size to work from, most comic strip cartoonists draw their daily comic strips 13w" x 4h" (Width x Height). Most panel cartoonists draw their daily panel 7" x 7" not counting the extra space for the caption below the panel drawing. You can draw larger or smaller than that, just stay in proportion to those sizes. But draw in a size that is comfortable for you.
