Mark Szorady has drawn his George comic strip for 20 years! It started as a very popular college comic strip feature with the Ohio State Lantern newspaper. After graduation, and drawing the strip five days a week for nearly four years, Mark spent time refining George and all its characters.

Then, in 1990, George entered syndication with King Features and appeared in more than 1500 weekly newspapers. After nine solid years at King, Mark moved George to the newly formed DBR Media syndicate where the strip continues to appear in newspapers across the nation.

In addition to his duties creating George, Mark also draws the delightful Double Take cartoon game feature for DBR Media! And add another new feature to Mark's list, Word Pile! Word Pile is a fun cartoon word game sure to please young readers and help them build vocabulary skills.

And Mark has been busy creating yet another comic game panel for DBR! George’s Word Ladder is a fun word game based upon his popular characters appearing in the wonderfully funny George comic strip!
