I start with a nice clean blank strip. It already has borders, Comic Strip Title, Author Name and lettering guidelines (in non-photo blue) printed on it. I create these comic strip templates using Serif PagePlus (you can get this template on the Templates page). I print them out using an HP 1120C color printer. To see the remaining steps, simply click the start arrow below. We’ll be looking at the creation of one panel of a comic strip. But please realize that the entire comic strip and all its panels are created the same way. Just keep working from left to right. |
