The Total Cartoonist by Ken Muse.
This is a follow up book to Ken Muses’s Secrets of Professional Cartooning book. It takes all the principles and tools discussed in the first book and shows how pro cartoonists apply them to their own cartoon features. Published in 1984, many of the concepts still apply although the means to creating cartoons have changed a bit (computers, pen technology, etc.) Both Secrets of Professional Cartooning and The Total Cartoonist offer a wealth of information and experience.
